Quinta do Facho 

Last April 22 , date on which we celebrate the Earth Day and also one of the International Days of the Eco - Schools ( World Days of Action ), there was an initiative that aims to promote and disseminate the principles of a more sustainable mobility .

 

The Quinta do Facho joined this initiative, together with the City Council of Leiria and the College C.C.M.I., making part of the activities of the day Eco - Schools .

Starting from CCMI , the Mare Corsária , conducted by Mariana Alves and with Mariana Francisco riding, took the testimony of the Eco - Schools and headed the procession of students from the College towards the City Council of Leiria.

 

The Board met representatives of all schools participating in this project to deliver the scroll to the Hon. Mayor Dr. Raúl Castro, with suggestions and commitments endorsed by Eco - Schools aimed at a more sustainable mobility .

 

At the end of our ceremony Corsária continued to transmit tranquility, despite being in the spotlight of the smallest .
